1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OathBound Creators portal ("Service") located at creator.oathboundmc.net, operated by OathBound MC ("we," "us," or "our").
By registering for an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You must have a valid Discord account to authenticate and access the Service.
- You must be an active content creator with a public TikTok and/or YouTube profile to register as a creator.
- You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it current.
3. Creator Codes
3.1 What Are Creator Codes
Creator codes are unique promotional identifiers that you generate through the Service. When your audience uses your creator code on the OathBound MC store, you earn a share of the revenue generated from qualifying purchases.
3.2 Code Ownership
Creator codes are licensed to you for promotional use and remain the property of OathBound MC. We reserve the right to revoke, modify, or disable any creator code at our discretion.
3.3 Code Usage Guidelines
- You may share your creator code on your social media, streams, videos, and other public platforms.
- You may not use misleading, deceptive, or spammy methods to promote your code.
- You may not impersonate another creator or use another creator's code without permission.
- You may not artificially inflate usage metrics through bots, self-purchases, or other fraudulent means.
4. Revenue Sharing
4.1 Earnings
You earn a percentage of qualifying purchases made with your creator code, as outlined in your Creator Agreement. Revenue percentages and qualifying purchase criteria may be updated from time to time with notice to you.
4.2 Payouts
Earnings are tracked through the Service dashboard. Payout methods, schedules, and minimum thresholds will be communicated to you separately. We reserve the right to withhold or reverse earnings from transactions that are refunded, disputed, or determined to be fraudulent.
4.3 Taxes
You are solely responsible for any taxes applicable to your earnings from the Service. We may require tax-related documentation as required by applicable law.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to interact with the Service without our express written consent
- Engage in any activity that harms the reputation of OathBound MC or the Service
- Create multiple accounts or share account credentials
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, trademarks, and materials associated with OathBound MC and the Service are our exclusive property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use OathBound MC branding solely for the purpose of promoting your creator code, subject to any brand guidelines we may provide.
7. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity
- Inactivity for an extended period
- Upon your request
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any pending earnings below the payout threshold may be forfeited.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OathBound MC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the total earnings paid to you in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OathBound MC and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
